Tom Mondragon graduated from Stanford University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He received a commission in the United
States Navy via ROTC at the University of California at Berkeley. Tom served as an officer in the nuclear submarine force for 6 years. To kick off his civilian life, Tom returned to Stanford for his MBA. Since graduating in 1999, Tom has built a career in consumer packaged goods at both large companies and small startups. He started his business career at The Clorox Company working in brand management and customer marketing on national brands such as Glad Bags and Wraps, Clorox Bleach, and Kingsford Charcoal. After seven years in Marketing at Clorox, Tom left to join his first startup as Director of Sales at Method, a sustainable and design‐focused challenger brand in
the cleaning and personal care industry. Later, Tom joined the large fragrance and beauty manufacturer Coty where he managed a sales team handling grocery, drug, and distributors. Next, he led US Sales for a young natural and sustainable personal care brand, YES TO INC. Tom’s latest adventure is leading Sales an early stage nutrition startup called OLLY that launched in 2015 at Target. Under Tom's leadership the company has expanded distribution to many national and regional retailers in the Food, Drug, and Club channels and has grown to be a 2 major challenger brand in the supplement and nutrition industry.
