Melanie Marcus

Chief Marketing & Customer Experience Officer Surescripts

Melanie Marcus is the Chief Marketing & Customer Experience Officer at Surescripts, where she leads marketing, account management and customer support.  She has spent her career working at the intersection of marketing, technology and healthcare.  Melanie hosts Surescripts’ award-winning podcast, There’s A Better Way: Smart Talk on Healthcare and Technology and serves on The Sequoia Project Board, where she is helping found a Pharmacy Interoperability Workgroup.  She also serves as the NCPDP Foundation’s National Advisory Council Chair for Role and Value of the Pharmacist.  Melanie earned her AB from Bowdoin College and MBA from Boston University and began her career at Mount Auburn Hospital and Sutter Health before spending more than 20 years at McKesson.
