Samantha Picking, PharmD, is Senior Director of Immunizations, responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide immunization strategies by working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital/IT, pharma, clinical, regulatory and operations. These teams help design, build, and deploy new and enhanced immunization program offerings to drive equitable and convenient access to life-saving vaccines.
A licensed pharmacist with more than a decade of experience at Walgreens. Samantha received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of New England in Portland, Maine, and joined Walgreens in 2014 as a community pharmacy practice resident in Worcester, Mass. After spending 7 years in field operations, in 2021, Samantha moved to the support office to lead the COVID-19 immunization operations team.
