Dr. Julie Akers serves as Interim Dean of Washington State University’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and teaches pharmacy law and topics in health care systems, pharmacy management, and pharmacotherapy.

Kayla McFeely
Vice President of Pharmacy Care, Health and Wellness Programs and Vice President of Research at the NACDS Foundation

Kayla serves as Vice President of Pharmacy Care, Health and Wellness Programs at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) and Vice President of Research at the NACDS Foundation. Kayla is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, completed an area of concentration in Pharmacy Business Administration, and interned with Giant Eagle Pharmacy, focusing on Medication Therapy Management.

Roberta Neuwirth is an accomplished Director, US Market Access with Abbott Laboratories. She has extensive experience in healthcare with expertise in creating product access spanning across payor medical policies, reimbursement, outcomes contracting, specialty pharmacy, retail pharmacy, and IDN Hospital/Health Systems.

Lisa Smith
Vice President, Pharmacy Clinical and Specialty Services
Walmart
Lisa Smith is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and also holds a Master’s in Business Administration. Lisa started her career with Walmart as a pharmacy intern and sixteen years later has held many roles, both as a pharmacist and in market, regional, and divisional field leadership positions. For the last several years, Lisa has been working on clinical operations in the pharmacy and advancing non-dispensing functions, including immunizations, medication therapy management, and point of care testing. She has clinical oversight and accreditation responsibility for Walmart’s specialty pharmacy. Throughout the pandemic, Lisa was Walmart’s liaison to federal and state public health.
