Maximizing Pharmacist Care to Improve GLP-1 Outcomes for Patients
This session will explore how pharmacist-led care can unlock the full value of GLP-1 therapies in light of recent policy changes promoting affordable access for patients. Panelists will examine how pharmacy teams are uniquely positioned to support patients across the full treatment journey to drive improved adherence, better outcomes, and cost-effectiveness. The discussion will also highlight the growing role of pharmacy-based care models, including Food is Medicine interventions, in addressing nutrition, lifestyle, and long-term disease management to maximize patient success.
